About Lit.
It's a gathering of passionate people who read, drink, share literary discoveries and groove to good music.
Lit is a book club event held MONTHLY at Monday Night Garage, in Southwest Atlanta.
Additionally, selected guests who sign up in time will read excerpts from a chosen book, based on their interpretation of the month's theme.
It's like karaoke for books, only not as simple or silly, and with much better songs, drinks and source material. Above all else, Lit is a great excuse to enjoy books, booze and beats, monthly. And it's free*.
*Entry to Lit is free, however we ask all guests to please bring a new, old, "borrowed" or gently used book you don't mind donating as your cover fee. Donated books will either be given to local charities or retained as part of Lit's book exchange program/library. Don't worry if you forget to bring a book--you can always bring two next month. Thanks for supporting the cause!
